Sea Klear Leak Sealer

Fine fountain jets may block when Leak Sealer is applied.  If jets cannot be removed, do not use this product.

To seal a leak in a spa or hot tub surface: 

1. Set the filter to bypass or recirculate.  If neither setting is available, remove the filter grids or cartridge from the filter before treatment.  Turn the heater off.
2. In spas and hot tubs, use 10 oz. per 500 gallons of water.
3. Turn off circulation pump. 
4. Add Leak Sealer directly into the water. 
5. Locate the area of the leak and add the product in that area; otherwise distribute the product evenly.
6. After 30 minutes, turn pump on. Leave pump running for a minimum of 8 hours.
7. Mark the water level, and check in 24 hours.  Larger spas and hot tub may require a second application.
8. Once Leak Sealer has taken effect, return the filter setting to normal and resume filtration. "Backwash" or clean the filter within 48 hours of treatment. 
9. Spas and hot tubs should be drained and filled with fresh water after treatment (after 24 hours).
