PleatcoPureTec media is unique to Pleatco and will capture particles smaller than the eye can see.
Pleatco's DUAL CORE design is effective for several reasons:
The inner fabric doesn't get clogged with larger particles because the outer material acts as a pre-filter. Additionally, Pleatco's FREE FLOW CORES are engineered
to maximize water flow. Other filter manufacturers use an inferion core made from PVC pipe with holes drilled in it. Without a proper core there is poor water flow
creating excessive pressure that can lead to cracked plumbing and eventually reduce the life of a pool or spa's pump.
